The Barney Leadership Council is a group of undergraduate students, your friends and peers, who are dedicated to preparing students with the necessary skills and experience to be successful business leaders.

Why you should join this organization?
Promote leadership and communication skills of current women/men undergraduates in CETA. Provide self-development opportunities for current women/men undergraduates in CETA. Provide exceptional community outreach for all CETA programs.
This organization is the body representing the students that comprise the Hartt Choirs. The purpose of the Hartt Choirs Students Association is to establish equity, inclusion, and democracy within the choral program. The association promotes the opportunity for all students on the University of Hartford campus to join the Choirs whether they’re music majors or not.
Why you should join this organization?
We believe that all people have the right to make meaningful music at a high caliber, regardless of their career path. We will promote democracy in choral organizations on campus by being a body to represent the students, where we then can interact with faculty with more power. We aim to improve the musicianship of all singers through choral repertoire, to collaborate with other music-making organizations on campus, locally, and regionally, and to establish a professional presence in Connecticut.
The Hartford Events and Activities Team (The HEAT) (FKA Campus Activities Team "CAT") is a student-run organization that provides the student body with a variety of programs, activities, and events. CAT's major event is the Spring Fling, which is held during the spring semester.

As a Residential Assistant, you have a variety of responsibilities, including facilitating community development, enforcing institutional policies, planning student programs and community builders, and so much more. If you are interested in this position, you should have a high degree of responsibility, commitment, and dedication.
Why you should join this organization?
Compensation for the Resident Assistant position includes a housing assignment in a single occupancy room (note that exceptions to the single room may be made for unforeseen circumstances) and at minimum a Student Leader meal plan, which consists of 200 meals and 500 dining dollars.
RFA stands for Resident Facility Assistant. RFAs are residential student leaders who work for Facilities and serve as live-in extensions of the department. RFAs help with residence hall preparation and shutdown, participate in a rotating on-call duty system to respond to facility needs across campus, provide direct service for maintenance issues during and after business hours (e.g., replacing light bulbs and shades, unclogging drains, and boarding up broken windows), routinely inspect all areas of campus, and work in the Facilities office answering phones and processing work requests.

LEAD is an exclusive leadership development, resilience coaching, and career readiness program for undergraduate women. The Leadership Education and Development (LEAD) Program is for female undergraduate students at University of Hartford that provides students with the tools, training, and community to successfully navigate the journey to and through college to life and careers.
Why you should join this organization?
Its cohort program is limited to 30 students per graduation class. In addition, campus programming is offered each semester that is open to all students.
